Hi folks,

I want to continue with this thread to let you admire splendid examples of roadbike Moser.
Here we have a 1985 model to celebrate last big victory of F.Moser , Giro d'Italia 1984.
The frame size is 55x55cm. , forks and little 2 rear hubs attack are made by "costruzioni telai speciali Francesco Moser".
It was a kind of special building made with columbus steel , but marked as the whole bike brand , in fact , Francesco Moser.
It mounts a mixed high range group formed by:

- Complete brake-set Modol intern. pat. , limited serie (you can read the serial number)
with brakes, levers and cables.

- Galli Aerodynamic rear derailleur (silver version) included a Maillard 700 freewheel (6sp).
this was designed with the aid of ultra-sophisticated aerodynamic testing facilities of Fiat.

- Chain Regina CX

- Galli Criterium crankset , 52-42. 170 mm. italian thread.

- Simplex SJA 102 front derailleur.

- Galli shifters.

- Ofmega master headset and bottom bracket.

- San marco Rolls saddle

- Galli rims , hubs Galli Maillard complete with axles and clips.

- Look carbo pro red pedals.

- Michelin slict wheels.

NOTE: forks are overpainted!!!

Enjoy the complete photoset.

Hi donny and thanks for the interest.
Well , let me say that this bike doesn't mount campagnolo medium range group like Record (in the meanwhile the top range was Super-Record) , but it mounts high range components just not marked campagnolo.
In Italy we do not have only campagnolo at the current time , and especially in 1980 decade there were a lot others brand producing bike parts.
Try to speak with campyoldy (Mr. Nigel) , he is a specialist of italian bikes and bike parts , and ask him about Modolo intern. pat. brakeset and Galli aero and criterium parts.
499 GBP for a medium range bike with high range components , included shipping and PP fee , is ABSOLUTELY not an high price.
You know that for sure.
Ciao and thanks again

what a relief! in our times of massive information sources just a few clicks away there are still people out there who wouldn't see a precious thing even if it would be right infront of them.
GALLI ... great and very rare stuff! but, pssst... do not tell :)

this MOSER would deserve a full GALLI equipment though!

eheheheheh thanks pere for your flattering words   , let me say that if the marks on the components were Campagnolo or Shimano this bike would cost at least twice as much.
Yeah you're right , it would deserve a galli full group (that is not so full as a campagnolo groupset).
It should be a Galli Criterium (equivalent of Campy Super Record) or a Gally Aerodynamic (equivalent of C-Record).
The rarest Galli part on this bike , i think is the pair of rims with hubs , in some years i've never seen these decal on Galli rims and hubs.
All the mixed group on this bike , as i wrote before , comes from the top range or high range quality set of several brands not campy.
ciao and thanks again
