Dirt Disciple
I finally let go of this in the 00's as it was just totally cream crackered, but man did I have some fun on this, to the extent I cracked the frame.

Sorry for the lack of pics but here it is

The drivetrain was all STX RC, which had something mad like 8000 miles on it easily. Id had over 5 years on it as a youths only form of transport lol.

Forks were originally Marzocchi zokes but these died an excruciating death.
Replaced with RST Mozo's from CRC back when it was a village shop.

Magura Blue mountains did an extremely good job of wearing through the Spinergys braking surface. I built the front wheel from a mavic rim, Shimano Deore hub, and DT spokes myself one day when I worked in JJB lol!

It had Ritchey SPDs, and a Rockshox shock fitted to the rear

Here is the frame disassembled when I cracked it and added the gusseting

I nitromorsed the frame down and painted it a silver metallic.

Hope it doesnt upset too many applecarts - a bit of a hack to be among all the epic bikes here :)

Not your purists dream but definitely work rather well!-can i get some feedback on the stratos helix expert rear shock plz apologgies if I sound stupid but never heard of it?much obliged peeps :)

I like seeing bikes like this.
Bikes are after all designed to be ridden and its always good so see a bike ridden to and beyond it's expected lifespan and still kicking.
the gussets look pretty neat too
