Pace forks

Retro Newbie
Hi Guys,

New here, looks like a great forum. Thought I'd start by asking a question, help needed.

Was just in the alps and a screw came loose from my front disc. Wore out the bracket holding the front pads 'unit'.

The forks a old school pace racing RC37 Dual Crown XC.

Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bracket?

Can upload a pic if required.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Chris.

Unless you mean the disc adaptor thingamebob?

Look a bit like these

Take a photo of the item and post it here so we can see what you are referring to.

If its an official spare from pace - as mentioned there is a member called Justbackdated aka Tim Price aka Fork English. He is an ex pace technician who obtained most of their spares after pace sold out to Dt Swiss. He will most likely be able to sort you out.

Hi again, pics as requested, sorry for not making much sense. These should help!!

Ouch! That could have been nasty. Tim is definately your man - but be prepared for disappointment. Most pace disc adapters are quite tricky to get hold of. An ad in the wanted board on here or a long wait on eBay maybe your only hope - but see what Tim says first.
