Campag Chorus Chainset Square Taper w. 53/39 rings, 172.5 cranks, bottom bracket and crank bolts

Used and showing signs of wear, but still in good condition

Smooth bottom bracket with no discernible play

Frankly, it's a long time since this was on one of my bikes, so I am not absolutely certain if it was 8 or 9 speed - I think 9. It was a Raleigh 653 team replica, so it must be for a British 68mm (?) shell. The right hand cup is marked 1.370 x 24T - 102mm.

By the way, the chainset looks better than my poor photo!

Campagnolo started branding the group names on their parts in 1995. I would assume its 9 speed

actually, scrap that. just checked 95 and 97 catalogues.
in 95 they were still making 8 speed
