Just done a quick search on here - why has nobody kept this frame for very long? It seems to have been passed around like the proverbial hot potato!

Is there some fundamental flaw with it? :?
 
No flaw - in fact it's flawless in terms of craftsman ship.

I found that at 18" it was too short in the top tube and head tube, just the geometry of these means that I should have been on a 21". It actually rode really nicely but was too uncomfortable for anything more than 20mins pottering around on the hill.

I'd love another or a Ritchey from the same era but in a bigger size.
