Old bottom bracket cups/ campa rear axle

Hi,

For this project (viewtopic.php?f=23&t=267647) I'm looking for:

- an old pair of bottom bracket cups, english thread, to install in the bottom bracket to protect it when powdercoating the frame. So nothing fancy!

- rear axle for a Campagnolo Record hub, 135mm. The old one is broken...

Anyone has something in his spare box?

Thanks in advance!

Ooops!

I've got your axel here, It's on my wifes' bike till the 5 September if you can wait that long.

I'm not being mean to her by taking it off though, as she's getting new wheels.

No problem man! I have time, frame still needs to go to the painter, so take your time :)

Still looking for cups though!

I thought that the powdercoaters had special heat resistant silicone bungs that they used for the BB and other threaded parts?

Oh, that could be! Never heard about it before, this is the first time I'm powdercoating a frame. But anyway, the problem is solved. As you can see in the project topic, I fixed the problem with some 'cups' made of wood!
