Sitting here writing some stuff for next year and decided to get the little angels re-engaged after the summer with a load of work centered around bikes. This will include extracting information from text inc a bit of maths e..g. pricing. Writing an advert and a review and other activities.

I work at a special needs school teaching functional/life skills, (eng/maths) so thinking that if anybody has a stack of old magazines that would provide source materials and examples of the above that would be fantastic. I would only need about 10 as a minimum as we have small classes.

Happy to pay postage or come and grab them if you're within a reasonable distance (Gloucs GL54)

Anything considered

I might even read them myself!

Thanks THM

Hope there's no slutty grammar etc in the above! Talk about setting yourself up.

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

I've got a load sat here from circa 2007..,

Postage will be cheaper than collection tho, but even that won't be cheap.

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

Where is the pinnacle then?

Just outside of Silverstone..

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

Hmmmm. Thanks. Can I wait and see if anyone nearer offers? Bloody postage is a pain these days.

I remember when.............

Anybody feeling generous. Please.

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

I could meet you in Witney with a bunch of Singletracks - perhaps 20 or so?

Could also provide a bunch of Outside magazine if they'd be of any interest?

Thursday 5 would be the first day I could make it, anytime between say 10 and 2. Weekends possible, but I'd need to check times.

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

Thanks for the offer but that's a good 45 mins from me. Sadly would be cheaper to just buy a few or subscribe online.

Re: Mountain Bike Magazines for Teaching Special Needs Pleas

:(

I can get the magazines to Warrington or Cardiff with no trouble at all, if you know someone who travels the other way?
