Dynatech Ogre XT

ah someone has swapped the changers for old fashioned twist thumb shifters. hard trying to change gear off road with them, i have temp fitted exage 7*3, although the group set is 8*3. trying to get hold of a good set of silver 8*3 xt shifters, good condition xt canties, to replace the dia comp ones.
 
Them old thumbshifters are probably the original Suntour Experts,rare and of excellent quality,the Dia compes are likely the 987s and are more superior to xt,it looks like your bike is totally stock as Ogre`s came with 8x3 Suntour Expert group and Diacompe SS7 levers with 987 cantis-a pretty damn fine set up,are you sure you want to XT it?
 
bang on the money, that's exactly what's fitted. i had a metalic purple dynatech m-trax 500 back in 94, was exage group set. regretted selling it. so going to swap all the Suntour equipment to a m-trax 300 im restoring. started to put it in primer tonight. going for white n black frame, white forks. not sure if i should use enamel paint though!
