Your starting to confuse me, what is a vanilla zaskar.

Dude, I'm starting to confuse myself

There's 2 types of zaskar (up to 99 at least) the Zaskar (which we've been referring to as vanilla) and the Zaskar LE

Up to 97 they were the same frame but with different components (afaik)

The 97 frames were different. The LE gained CNC'd 3D dropouts and an integrated seat collar. The LE was also missing the seat tube cable routing for Canti's but I think the Zaskar lost that part-way through 97 too (mine's a 97 built 10-96 and has this)

From 98 I'm confused. The catalogue shows both having 3D dropouts but I've seen frames advertised as 98 with the integrated collar and flat dropouts.

Hmm I think I may be ayearout on my zaskars

Wil dig them out the shed for a look

Hi!

Can somebody tell me, the 1996 Zaskar is handle the V-brake, or just the canti?
I see the drops on it, but what is the distance between them?
I've got a '96 Kettler, there the distance is 93mm, and my Bianchi's 80mm. The Kettler is too wide, it cannot strain enough...I can fix it, but not perfect.
Of course, I mean the back brake. :)

Thanks!

This thread last had a post in august 2013, so its 16 months old.

Might be a better idea to post your own thread so as not to confuse things ;)
