Rather splendid, but I always think Proflex look best with those Girvin girder fork thingies. Somehow all those linkages look good on a Proflex that other bikes cant carry off. Much in the same way other cantilever bridges dont look as perfect as the Forth Bridge.

I have a set of those on another proflex 856 frame , but I think the shock in them is a rear one as it seems over long ,might have another look tho
Anyway the girvins look cool with flat bars , my back's not keen on flat bars

Always wondered why some of the Proflexs had a hole in the seat tube, what passes for a seat tube, thought it might have been for the suspension. Then thought, nah, as I'd never seen one that used the hole, now I realise it's for the brakes.
Your's is the first Proflex I've seen built up with a cable hanger for canti brakes still on it. Or is this a load of pish?

Nice bike by the way. Always liked Proflex bikes, but couldn't afford one then, much like the Super V I have now.
I'm not richer, but being retro brings them into reach now. :D
