Old School Hero
This is the frame that really started me on the long and fabulous odyssey of bike worship. Bought in the Harry Hall shop in Manchester in 1988 ish using a whole terms grant cheque! Was owned by a famous local time trial monster apparently. I built it up with 105 and cd4s and it weighed nothing. Sold it as a runner about ten years ago and was given it back in the sorry state it is now. Tears well up!
531 Professional tubing throughout with simple lug work, braze ons for front mech and race number! Paint work knackerred but maybe some of the pearlescent white, blue hand painted lugs and red transfers can be saved. Lovely embossed Hs on the seat stay tops. Internal cable routing through top tube.
Small dent in seat stay and some surface rust. BB threads will need a clean.
