Very nice well done.
One thing though, the handlebars are now too high for the length of the gear cables.

Well spotted, yes they were too high when the picture was taken (before I had ridden the bike) they have since been lowered.

Here is a sad addition to this story...I managed to talk my brother round and he let me have my old (around 1955) Cinelli, it has been stored in a horrible shed with a collapsed roof for several years.It look's like I will have some work on my hands to save it.

What a great project though and what makes it more fascinating/interesting is the fact that you bought it back in 1961 and you still have it! You can't buy that sort of history...it's priceless!
