Ok cheers. Since its a bit bigger I'd need new forks so the steerer was long enough so for now I'll pass.

Even worse, seat tube! Split from the bottom bottle cage bolt. Really odd but very terminal. What I thought was where the powder coat was wearing was actually the tube failing. The fact I'm not overweight met it'd been like that for over a year with no problems until this week and especially last night when it creeped from a small line to one that almost goes around the whole tube!

Does it have to be 1997-98?
I have a 19" Lava Dome frame from 1994, in good condition with original paint and decals.

This isn't the actual frame, but it looks like this:
