Just scored a 1998 fsr ground control.
pics to follow when he delivers it tomorrow. cant wait!!! :D

If you need some inspiration, check out my FSR build thread, it's had many different guises.

as delivered this morning. the guy I got it from is a friend, he bought it new made a few upgrades and didnt really use it.
there is no play in the bushes all the bolts, posts ect were greased, the rear brake cable was a tad dry so i greased them up, took the nasty aftermarket junk off, stickers, chainstay and rear shock protector.
plans, put some ea50 bars on that i have in black, not digging this whole 50 shades of blue so gonna put some grey peatys I have and give it a damn good clean.
the forks top out when i pull a wheelie though, any thoughts? the compression adjusters seem very stiff so going to strip them out and free them up and he said he had the elastomers upgraded for a heavier weight. they don't bottom out (although I suspect off road they will) but i get a definite thunk when they come off load.
