Battaglin

Flandria

Retro Guru
Hello,

Just wanted to share my Battaglin. I use this one mainly for riding around. It's not going to win a fashion contest, but all the parts are nicely clean, well looked after and work like a charm. The laquer is more 'venomous' green in reality! All parts are Campagnolo (lower end group I think), including brake pads and cables. Wheel are Mavic MA40 with some fresh Vittoria's. Not sure about the ugly ITM stem, might change it in the future. I think a nice Campagnolo Aero seatpost would look nicer too :). Oh, and another (black) bottlecage!

Comments are welcome!

Re: Battaglinograph

nice, nice raised pantograph flag bit, nice different colour... what year please

Thanks for the reactions. I'm not sure about the year: I gues somewhere end 80's, start 90's? Not so familiar with frames older dan 1980... The serial number that is stamped under the BB says '1881'. I've sent a polite e-mail to Battaglin USA, to ask if they have any more info on this frame. What do the experts over here think?
