This will be a quick build for Sunday hopefully (Surrey hills) so not a full on resto. More a mix of period/slightly more modern parts
Some quick pics:

Take one Cro-mega frame

Apply liberal amounts of caustic soda to seatpost till it looks like this:

And the frame looks like this :(

Hopefully it should start to look like a bike:

Now to sort out what's in the packages and throw them in the direction of the bike and see what sticks.

I only started it last night(in between cooking me dinner and tidying the garage!) will be working on it in the evenings, just want it to be rideable at the moment so don't expect a garage queen to turn up on Sunday, more like a survivor/rat build until funds allow for respray and decals :D

Not very much on the update front at the 'mo,cleaned and mounted the bottom bracket, front and rear mechs...apologies in advance for the dull pics:

The mechs cleaned up ok and don't feel too bad(considering they're at least 21years old!)and I'm aware that's a front tyre on the back, don't panic,it's not staying :D

(*sorry for any offence caused to Klein owners by the use of the word "fuselage")
