What's on your A list?`

Common theme being 90s steel. ;)

You and me both Bro.

Having said that two of my three are carbon.

In no particular order;

Brodie
HOTTA mtb
Raleigh Militis (yes I know they are current, but have you actually seen one?).

Hmm being mainly a Marin lover no.1 has to be:

1 - Marin Team Ti 1990-93
2 - Klein Gator/Koi/Moonrise.
3 - Rock Lobster steel beauty...

Doug

I'm new to this, but when I was a teenager I dreamed of owning,

A- A Santa Cruz full susser
B- Kona King Kikapu
C- A really light Stumpjumper

All of these bikes just look 'right' to me. Really love the angles and geometry.

Early 90's Brodie with Gatorblade
16" or 17" Dekerf
26/24 Cannondale with double rollercams
Fillet brazed Bromwich, preferably with u-brake
1989 Explosif
WTB Phoenix

Just off the top of my head

I've been away from here for "quite a while", but as I've a bit of time now....

- A White Zinn (the one I missed on ebay in '05)
- RC 100
- Kona Hot - stars n stripes
- Kona Explosif - must be a black '93.

I'd be pretty happy at that!

RC100
GT RTS
Merlin Newsboy
Pre-trek Klein

I have to say I must be at odds with the majority of us. I don't feel the fire in my belly for early steel. I've been riding since '89 and grew up drooling over Fat Chance and Salsa frames but now I can't say they do anything for me. Maybe it's just I've never seen one in the flesh, but I still get the feeling the appeal is in the aura and nostalgia of the name.

And I'd have to agree.
Thing is, that magic is still there when you get your bum in the seat 20+yrs later!
