Fads

fads was the name of a DIY place when I was young, bought out by b&q eventually.

I would get my coat, but its too warm outside :facepalm:

Indeedy. An acquaintance of mine recently had one and has been smugly looking down on the rest of us, until I pointed out that a) there are several different standards with slightly contradictory ideas on what is proper, and b) having decided on which standard is for you it possibly to easily locate the data to enable you to do it yourself if so inclined.
 
I have bar ends on a couple of bikes. What's wrong with bar ends?
(serious question - I do find they get in the way sometimes but that's more than compensated by climbing ability and variation)
