any idea what year my Marin is?

just got hold of a Palisades Trail and it has a one inch threaded headset. any idea what year this Marin is? it's badly faded Zolatone paint by the looks of it too.

White lettering is 1990, colour coded is 1991.

Badly faded zolotone probably = light zolotone = 1990

Thin rear stays would confirm as would serial number

I reckon from location its the £6.11 from eBay last night. Should be a 1990, 1" headset.

you are correct! yes it has a one inch h/s and what lettering is left is white. thanks for the reply's!

I thought they'd gone to 1 1/8th by 1990 :? My friends old 1989 was 1". Saying that, if it's defo zolatone then it's a 90 :?

Not necessarily, my 1990, thin seat/chain stay Pine Mountain isn't Zolatone, it's a pale gloss grey.

I'm sure that's the 1989 colours. However, Zolatone was mainly UK - other countries didn't get it and doubtless some have since leaked across the borders!
