After an afternoon's cycling on my Courier 2nd son has decide to go retro and we've found him a nice '92 RockHopper (thanks to KonaTone)
I've a nearly full groupset of black LX m563 which I've tidied up already but the shifters are done for.
I've zero experience of shimano of this period so what would you recommend?
Replace with like for like LX combi's
Deore thumbies?
or another solution? (Budget is meagre)
Will later shifters work ok? I've also some 400lx shifters will they work, what are they like? (think bike would have had 400lx originally?)
