One the best months for ages, it had it all great bikes, some nice pictures ( I will have to learn how to do that one day) spat dummies ( all ways the best part ), a well deserved winner and to top it all I got some votes cheers.

Would the lugged 531 Conquest from the 89-90 catalogue have actually been built here in the UK? It seems far too traditional for it to have been far east made, don't think we have any of those on here.
I assumed that Saracen continued to have bikes built here in the UK until the 90's and like everyone else moved then because of my Kili being built here, was it just the Reynolds bikes that were built here?

The 1989 Conquest frame was built in Coventry at either Mcilwaine or Tom Bromwich and assembled in Leamington Spa.

The 1989 Kili Flyer comp frame was made in Taiwan with the bike being mafe back here again in Leamington

A very well deserved winner

I think some get carried away with opinion rather than hands on skill, effort and Adrians Formula was a bit of a pig to start with but a pig never the less most would want to have.

Money is easy to spend if you have it but to bring something back and seek out original builders,info to retain it's soul..... is something few of us will ever do to this extent but many will have done it in a smaller challenge and so will appreciate the effort that goes into these type of rebuilds.

The bike does you proud Sir, well done.
