Bentley seem to have lost the plot...

I hate quoting Wiki but for once it agrees with me!

Lambo's new SUV should be on the same platform.

When you consider the Touareg's towing capacity, the chassis should be more than up for a bit of extra weight for all the Bentley luxury.

Speaking of Lambo SUVs, the original Hummer took a hit in Iraq!

Ugly, horrid thing designed for the US, China and the Gulf, not Europe.

I still don't get why people want to drive round in these things, other than insecurity.

My sister in law drives an Escalade. It is huge, comfortable and can get them home through the snow. Our Pajeros do the same with rather less room, but to me are just as comfortable. £30,000 plus on the one hand, less than £2,000 the pair on the other!

I don't know why people spend so much on what, to me, are utilitarian vehicles.

Of course then, there are your sheiks..

An Escalade in Britain...does she have her own oil well? Must be entertaining trying to park it too: do you need to find 4 spaces together?

My brother lives in the States!

There is a chap up at St. John's Wood that has an original Hummer, and it stands about a foot out from the row of parked cars! There are plenty of large US motors knocking about over here of course, after all the years of diplomatic cars and US servicemen being able to ship cars over free.
