First retro build a muddy fox seeker am I mad

Well ive finally sourced all of the bits i need for the build all XT M732 other than wheels and headset which are DX M650 still acceptable, my first job is to clean up frame and touch up as i would like to keep the original look without respray etc.
Any ideas for touch up pens etc. in this colour, all ideas will be met with a virtual man hug
Also need to touch seat post up (oh you are awful) as it is scratched bet logo is there and good....
Then i can begin to assemble, i will post pics of all bits and pieces later, i am as excited as a pig in s**t and thanks to all the people who sold me the bits i needed.... :mrgreen:

It's good to see you've got the majority of the bits you need but the only thing i can suggest regarding touch up paint unfortunately is to track down a paint specialist and take your bike frame to see if they can do a match and if they can then they should do a touch up kit which are a little fidley but well worth the money ..

Thanks for that fella I have purchased a clear lacquer touch up pen I don't mind if its a little rough adds to its character....
That was me on Mr Gumby's post and this is Karlos' Seeker. They are the only two large ones I've seen though. You can see mine on the old MF anonymous thread though I might start a thread as I do more to it. Come on Karlos! We want some pics of how yours looks now! ;-)
Cheers for the tip, sadly my bike budget only really stretches to essentials so while its a shame to switch away from entirely non-shimano that's how its gotta be. The DX looks pretty good though and the diacompe looked as bad as they performed imho. May be adding some DX wheels too.
