Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

Is the end cap curved ? Or does the photo make it look curved ?

Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

curved.
Aint a zaskar buddy, were not allowed to comment on price but you might want to change the 4 to a 1.

Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

it is a zaskar, it has the riveted cable guide too that the 1993 zaskar had

Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

but it has a curved rear cap, which the zaskar never had. (unless my eyes are deceiving me in which case i apologise.)

Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

What's the first 4 digits on the serial number?

Re: 1993 GT Zaskar LE upgraded to modern day with retro fee

nope its a 1993 avalanche, just realized as the zaskar and the avalanche both had rivited cable guides in 1993, and end is curved, so that confirms this, i was told was a zaskar from somone online, ill change title then

Re: 1993 GT Avalanche upgraded to modern day with retro fee

no worries, I had an avalanche le from this era, very nice bikes. I sold mine for 130 with rigid forks if that helps. Its my opinion but I don't think those suntour forks are doing it any favours, nor are the bar ends.
good luck with selling it you should have no problem finding a buyer.

Re: 1993 GT Avalanche upgraded to modern day with retro fee

I thought the early Avalanches were steel, with the Zaskar and Pantera and the likes making up the alloy line???
