Interested. But does the split collar mean I can't replace the axle then?

Must the SPD's be Shimano, as I have a really nice set of Ritchey ones?

You can get them out as I have done it before but its a little tricky. Bearings are good for a while though

got a set of 737's - they're having little play in axles (I don't have tool to serviced them) but ofc You'll have any problem with using them now

I have a nice set with no axle play and very little marks-even have the writing on the side!
