SOLD: 1986 Raleigh Record Sprint Single Speed

BIKE NOW SOLD



Hi All

As with many single speed builds, I built it, looked at it for a bit, rode it twice then put it in the back of the shed.

It has to go.

90% of the parts are new and only used twice on the road. Only the frame and original Wienmann brake calipers are old.

Note that the bike differs slightly from the main pictures, it now has a near flat black handlebar fitted.

£80 i think is a fair price, if slightly lower than it's it's actual book price.

I'm prepared to post the bike, my apologies, forgot to mention that. I don't know how much it will cost however so I'll package it up and have it weighed at the post office before showing the postage cost here.

I have already been contacted by another member offering the asking price so you have 2nd dibs.

The frame measures 20.5" from Centre of bottom bracket to centre of top tube.

Pick up is from Doncaster.

This bike is a real give-away deal gents, if you break the bike down it is worth much more than the £80 I'm asking.

Brand new Quando hubs with Weinmann rims
Brand new brake levers
Weinmann 500 brakes
Brand new brake pads
Brand new RSP seat post

Cheers but I have opted for something with a few gears so I wont get killed, i love the idea of SS and have tried it for about 3 or 4 months on MTBs but never really found that happy place on it.
