There are times when this section reminds me a lot of Singletrack.

Tongue in cheek ribbing is fine between members who understand one anothers sense of humour, but there are at least two members who I now actively avoid, wherever they post.

I do feel a bit like I'm being 'put down' consistently by certain individuals and see the same happening to other newbies. Bit of a shame when we take the time to participate and often enthuse.

i think its just the times; ie madelin macan and thatcher look on sikipeadia
at what some trolls see as fun.
if a debate gets too heated best to log off

but its hard to do.
everyone i have met on rides has been spot on;a great bunch of lads
maybe there should be a ban on politics being discused for a start.

You're right, it's very distasteful. Fortunately The History Man is a premier league Thatcherite so there'll be no such unpleasantness here.

It's was irony, but hot weather is making it too much effort to think up first class material.

Ribs not good. Survived 4 days at work before the pain drive men to the work doctor, who advised I'm dangerously unfit for work, and a phone call to my GP got me signs off for another month. Might be looking at surgery and more metalwork if there no improvement.

On the plus side folk on here have been really supportive, and those pm' s of concern and encouragement you sent were really uplifting. Thanks buddy
