DIY Terrys Stopwatch Holder

I really wanted a Terrys style Stopwatch Holder for my forthcoming Alf Engers inspired Emperor 70's Time Trial machine. However I was reluctant to pay the £30 for the modern versions that pop up on Ebay and even more for the originals that sometimes appear.

So, using the following and a £11 period Stopwatch...

I came up with the holder below. I think i may well change the 24mm P-Clip for a 22mm one so I don't need the rubber cover, which will result in a more traditional look.

Steve.

Thats a very cheap but excellent idea.

I'd think about buying plug chain and attach some to the threaded bolt to the watch itself,
with the bad roads these days and the vast amounts of holes in the road, one day you will
go in one and the watch may jump out and this happened to my mates genuine old Heuer
and it hit the road and smashed into dozens of bits, he was gutted as it cost him £180.

Good advice that!

I lost a stopwatch then used tape around the clip fingers and had some tape between the bars and the clip to prevent it slipping round
