How do,
Can anyone recommend a bottom bracket for a '95 Kilauea frame?

I'm pretty sure a square taper 68mm UN55 would fit - but is there a lighter/better option?
Also, I've no idea what the spindle length should be - can anyone help with that?
Thanks for looking!!

Ned to know the cranks for the bb length.
Better for the price , probably not.
Lighter yes, look for Ti or old un90/91's and raceface...etc...
Off the shelf though you'll pay.
There are Tange ones, no idea where to buy them and(the high quality ones) also IRD can be had over here now.

Hi,

I recently bought a Tange to replace a UN-91 in my 94 AA.

Quality wise i think i made a very good buy, because the bearings in the Tange are sealed and replaceable.

I went for a 68X113 (triple chainrings).

The tange looks good - thanks for the tip!
Anyone know what spindle length is required for Sugino Impel 700 cranks?
Cheers!

Disappointing that they make the IRD ones, as I had one of those and had to return it as it almost instantly lost smoothness. Probably just a dodgy one, but still off-putting.
