Rode this at the weekend, it was frickin hot and the two guys in tow are a bit rusty (I'm rusty too, just they are more so!) - seemed like a pretty good set up for what is essentially a city park, obviously it doesn't have as much going on as a larger trail centre, or 'the Countryside' but if I were a Manc City dweller I could see the attraction of getting down there now and again. Plenty of folk too, mainly a mix of kids on inappropriate bikes and clusters of newbies, perhaps on the skills course.
Overall it's worth checking out and a good way to waste a couple of hours.

Yes It's amazing! I went down just for one hour last night after a long day/evening at work, GF was convinced I'd be ages but nope, I got back before the virtual dog got my dinner! Brill blast! no faffing.
The only prob is though many trails are now surrounded by massive nettles and thorns! OUCH!
