Looking to put an aheadset on a1 inch external dia marin quill stem. Think this is what I need as I want to have a play with some drop bars :facepalm:

Something like this?

Got this one which I beleive will do any 1" - 1-1/8" combo:-

Yes please check. 1 inch to 1 1/8 is what I'm after. Not keen on shims though so would be good to know how this one would work? Thanks
