Yes I'm pleased with the progress
The wheels,front brakes,cabling,scrub the tyre walls and I'm done.
Photos of completed project will follow
Oh and I need to find that brooks conquest saddle!!!!!!!!!

Also on my way home from work on my bike today I found another Saracen in someone's drive,stopped to have a chat about it.
It was only going to the skip!!!!!!!
You guessed it it's on its way home to my workshop
I'll keep you posted with it.

Have started removing the bits to have a closer look at the frame
Seat post is jammed and stem,so will have to decide what to do with her.
The decals are fresh and clearly reads Saracen Ruff Trax,does this make sense
Also tubing sticker is Range,also hand built in UK
Any pointers to establish the year.

Have a look in the catalogues on here. Rufftrax nearer the bottom of the range, but tidy enough frames.

The tubing is probably Tange. What colour is the frame?

Frame is black,some nice bars,team Saracen stem salvaged.
Looks like a 97
It'll be ideal as a winter ride
Looks a nice frame.seat post is stuck though,any ideas
