Fun Car. Talk to me!

To me, if its not in regular use it would be less of a reason to buy an Alfa. I'd want it to start when I wanted to use it.

Minis - I used to so want one, then I saw one that had been in an accident. As a friend of mine said, the Mini must have been the inspiration for the Chocolate Orange - because they both come apart exactly the same way if you give them a tap. Of course you'll probably never be in an accident, so may be this isn't worth too much thought.

Have you thought of a Mk1 or 2 Golf GTI? Or a 205 from the same generation?

I've recently bought a Lexus IS200 for hoots and giggles, very cheap to buy for what you get IMO :D
It serves as a daily driver aswell and is superb to drive.
If you wanted more power the import Toyota Altezza is very good value for money.
IS200 is straight 6 155bhp, Altezza is, if memory serves, 4 cylinder with either a turbo or a supercharger and around 220bhp
Rear wheel drive 6 speed box and all mod cons.
If you go private you can get an 2001 car with low miles for well under £1500

Like this
