chopper id ??? help !!

hello folks

i need to rack your brains !!
i picked this cool chopper style bike up at a clearance auction yesterday and wondered if any one cold identify it ?? there are no makings or names at all on it , just to have it cos it looked cool !!!!!!!!!

any ideas??

Pretty sure it's a Colnago: are there any markings on the dropouts? I don't think it's team issue -- maybe one of the Q series bikes which had the bak'R'lite or ratponce tubing (depending on which side of the pond you were). Nice nonetheless.

This is a Schwinn Sting-Ray chopper that was sold around the time of the 100th anniversary. Yours does look like it may have been augmented somewhat. For reference here is a pic
