Those Teledials on the 33 look like the Speedlines on my mates Lancia Rallye 037 Stradale- a very nice wheel indeed.

You have friend with a 037? That is one of my favourite cars ever.... Together with the Alfa Tipo 33 and the Masser a6G Zagato.

The 037 is brilliant!

Yes its stunning and a genuine Stradale version too. Still on its ROMA plates even though its been over here about 10 years

The Zagato and Tipo 33 are amongst my top 10- you have great taste!!

The Zagato bodied Ferrari 375 MM from the late 50's has to be my favourite though, closely followed by the Alfa Tubolare Zagato 2

Yes, the 037 is very

I have to make do with a HPE 200ie.......the latest of many Lancia Betas I've owned......

on the plus side I can fit a bike in my HPE, no chance of that in an 037!!!

On the left - '59 Beetle. (yes, I know the tail lights and US-spec bumper are wrong!)

On the right - '55 M&W Porsche 356 Speedster Type I replica.

Love those big Mercs, but for going round corners:

;)

The AMG had, well, AMG suspension so used to corner very well (with thge 17"s on). The 560 was a little scary but a LSD took care of things.

Best cornering car was the RS1600i (obviously being a homologation touring car model)

Definitely agree that an LSD is worth its weight, and I'm almost sold on getting a Merc next time.

If I had a hermetically sealed garage it woud be a 380 SLC and I would take up pipe smoking and happily stick to straight roads; but I've almost persuaded myself that an early 90s 320 ce 24v with the sports suspension would make a sensible family motor.
