Hi vmlopes might be able to help. I have a 1994 Kona AA or a '98 kona Lava dome both 18".
The AA is restored & the Dome is good unrestored condition but stripped down. If interested I will get some pictures if you send e'mail address.

I'm just putting the finishing touches to a rather nice Orange P7 if you're interested (should be finished this week), '99 frame with F7 rigid fork. It will also be a little less than your budget
