The forecast is looking very tasty!!! Mid-20s !!

I forgot about this, ED was laying too much power down Saturday !! At least the reason for skipping mech came to light thankfully didn't let go during ride.

Should be in chaps. Is Dave on the electric yogurt pot?

I'd advise against wearing chaps. Unless you are riding a horse, wearing a Stetson and carrying a pistol.

Surely even John wouldn't have the bare faced cheek to show up in chaps? Still, could be appropriate as Vinia is set on making Mexican food on Saturday.

What bikes will we be seeing at the weekend as don't want to go off half cocked.

A bicycle with considerably more than 4 gears....saving the Lenton for the Cotswold Classic!

Re: RetroRoadRide Series - Rd 4: Herefordshire Grimpeur 06/0

Has anyone either got some 7 speed downtube shifters I can use or some mounts which go between shifter and frame on 105 shifters, as I took mine out to fit tonight and the mounts are missing, doh.

You car booting again Dave?

Re: RetroRoadRide Series - Rd 4: Herefordshire Grimpeur 06/0

I think locking Dave in a car boot is more preferrable than the thought of him lap dancing in lycra. Some things are just not meant to be.

Chaps at the ready. Chaps.

Can Ed confirm if he'll be riding or driving this time?

Also considering a Di2 ban on retrobike rides (fao dave and andy).

I'll be driving the peleton on like a corpulent Herefordian Jens Voigt as usual (should be read as "climbing like Cavendish, descending like Wiggins").

Have a good one everybody. Weather looks cracking. Best fit an extra bottle cage.
