I don't get your issue with the Ibis winning Stevo?

Its a beautiful example of an awesome bike that gained nearly twice as many votes as the 2nd place bike?

I don't have any issue with it winning; but I fail to see why it did...

...I vote for the bike I like the look of most, not the one I would most like myself or any of that tosh, and to me the Ibis looks no different to the £40 Emmelle that got me back into cycling back in 1989.

Take a look at the owners build thread again, attention to detail, period correctness, great photos on a budget, and it gets ridden.

I'm off to find myself an Emmelle that looks just like an Ibis Custom ;)

I'm considering some kind of treasure hunt element to help determine future winners.

HAHA! Well done, John. I feel bad for you trying to run the crazy house. Great job, by the way.

59 voted for the Ibis, 162 voted for something else...

...by putting the top three (four this month) through to a 'deciding' vote the 162 who didn't vote for the Ibis could then have the opportunity to either vote for it or one of the others, thus adding an extra element of competition into the mix.

It might even encourage more people to vote; (un)Reality TV and Talent(less) shows, with their voting systems, being as (unfathomably) popular as they are?
Interesting theory. Rather fact-free though.

Percentage of overall vote that went to the winning bike(s) in each poll:

It seems that Huelse's Ibis actually garnered a FAR higher percentage of the overall vote that is typcial. The 6th highest percentage ever achieved actually.
