Any car mechanics out there?

The light keeps going off and never on when at a garage did it once with the AA man and read misfire in no3. Just going to throw it over to a garage we think as could be a number of things that are replacement swaps so let them find out what they are.

Bloody cars

Just a hunch, but get an emissions test. Wally light winking on and off but registering no fault code (they'll probably leave a trouble code but you'll need the manufacturer specific computer to read those) is often a cat or lambda problem, and the latter especially can cause stuttering and hesitation.

Hmmm reading up on the car/engine a real common fault is O2 sensor on exhaust , did think to get a new one but be £60 down drain if its not :?

Ah, I don't know that, and it strengthens my gut feeling. Could be cat too. Don't know a lot about these specific engines, so unsure if they have pre and post car lambdas, or just the one.

Oooowww another interesting note as there is deff exhaust rasping if you start revving not blowing but a kinda rasping :?

Possible bingo! Is there a blow near the lambda?

Could be a good call, that especially if it's on the "wrong" side of it. Manifold crack?

Not that it really fits all the symptoms as good as the above, but a possibility of baffles breaking up in the exhaust.
