Pace rear mech cable guide

Gordie

Geoff Capes
I've been in touch with Pace as my RC300 is missing the rear mech cable guide which I believe was part of the chain suck device.

After a week of going back and forwards I've received something that looks like it's off a modern pace that is no use to me.

Does anyone have the part pictured here that they could measure up for me as i'm going to have to try and make one myself.

Have a chat with Tim Price (justbackdated on this site) he is a wealth of pace knowledge being ex-pace and has a lot of their spares.

That looks quite like what I have on my RC300 Gordie.

Later Pace frames don't have anti-chainsuck devices.

Sure you've turned it the right way round?

This is not what I've received, this is what I'm looking for measurements from.

I've received a big white nylon version of the part to the left of the photo.

Ah... now I get it....

The white one you have there is identical to the ones on both my RC300 and my RC200.

You're just missing the cable guide as you point out.

If nobody else has done it by the weekend, will measure mine up for you.

That would be fantastic, I've ordered a block of nylon to try and replicate it. Doesn't look too challenging just a bit miffed with the lack of knowledge/support from Pace.
