The Flying Scot

Hadn't seen your post Andy - nice one :p

Don't think you've paid over the odds either - I've seen much worse go for much more. Get polishing ;)

:D :D :D

Mine's in the kitchen at the mo' - a fully operational rider and awaiting 14 speed conversion plus paint. Likely to be Metallic Deep Sea Blue or Candy Apple Purple and Magnolia with lug lining.

Just need a reasonably priced set of deep drop campag brake calipers and I'll be happy. If you see any at CW or BS let me know.
:D :D :D

Its worth the money to get a proper paint job even if it means sending it away.

I definitely wouldn't powdercoat. I've seen powdercoating from several companies and I've yet to see a frame where the powder hasn't drooped or sagged and ends up thin on top of the lugs and thick at the bottom. May as well smother it in porridge and bake it in the oven :)
