Great thread, I picked up a Armstrong of the same vintage, been wondering what to do with it, this one being fixedwheel.

Thanks. This one has been a labours love so not concourse but tried to keep the original feel. Still waiting for the chain then it will be out for a trundle.

Finally finished. Beautiful day for a first ride. A few adjustments were needed on the way round my local loop but nothing major happened. Gear changes are not to be rushed or the chain has a mind of its own! Braking is by appointment. Everything felt really narrow and slightly 'brittle' if that makes any sense. Once I got used to it it was a pleasant pootle but I'm not sure I'd want to push the old girl.
Anyway, stopped in a couple of places on my loop from home. All of the locations are within a few miles of my home village of Winchcombe.
