We obviously view motor racing circuits differently, out of all the circuits I drove when I used to race cars, Silverstone club was about the most boring of the lot. Plus, if it's wet and windy, then that back straight at three o'Clock in the morning is going to be miserable with a capital M.
I'll talk to the boy tomorrow and see what he thinks.
Donnington the wrong way round would also be good.
Or the old GP circuit at Brands.
I used to go to the historic meets at Silverstone back in the early 70's, with the Morgans and the pre 34 F1 cars and all the 1960's sports cars, fantastic.... but on a bike, at 3.00am on a wet Sunday morning in September.
Mind, the last time I raced at Donnington, I ran out of petrol during practice, as my 'mechanic' had forgotten to top the tank up. And DNF as the oil pressure relief valve gave up the ghost on lap 8.
