1983 Saracen...

Well since building the first one I've been quietly amassing spare parts. To the point that when another frame cropped up i had more than enough bits to build up a second bike. So plan is one will be full period(tyres chain tubes cables brake blocks etc...) the other will be compromised in so much as its gunna be a full on rider.modern tyres, some sort of spd probably and these lovely nitto bullmoose bars i have.
But first job was to get it down to Bob Jacksons as some dick had sawn the mech hanger off.

Not sure that the profile is quite right...i'll compare to the other in the morning and the grinder might come out.next job will be getting it down to LSN for a full blast and powder coat.I'd quiet like it red but seeing as i have a full set of (red) decals for the othwr one spare its gunna be black too

What a lovely bike, and a sensible size too for us shorties. :D
Is the clearance OK with those tyres? They look great!

Who would hack the mech hanger off a frame like that?! Fool!

Frame back from powdercoat. Yum yum yum. :D It looks like paint, it really does and all for £30.00... thats a third the price of bob jacksons.now into tesco for some nail varnish to do the lugs...

.........let loose, from the noose, thats kept me hanging around...

Right now thats out the way dont think that doing the lugs with nail varnish is gunna work (or any other kinda paint as my skill is not that good with a brush. Even a tiny one) I could really f*ck up a nice paint job. So sugestions please. Rather than using a brush can you get some kind of paint pen? I'll have to check out halfords tomorrow...
