Any idea on what it is please?

styer is an austrian brand, possibly based in Linz. Puch was their bicycle brand name. I think they also had some involvement in motorbikes and car assembly. Hazy memories of the detail, but definitely austrian. Be interestd to know what BB and headset threads are on it

We sold Steyr-Daimler-Puch bikes in the late 70's much like the above. They weren't big on model names IIRC for the cheaper end. If you are riding it beware the "suicide" brake levers, a triumph of style over function.

Strangely enough, parents loved tem LOL

My dad hacksawed mine off the day my first road bike came home, much to my mothers dismay....

Steyr also make assault rifles. The Steyr AUG is their most famous killing machine.

Funny how some of the biggest producers of small arms are also involved in bicycle production - BSA, Fabrique Nationale. Any others?
