I recently bought a Colnago MTB frame (complete with Colnago branded Canti brakes). I believe it's a 1992 "Superlativ".
Being a roadie, what kit do I go for? The frame is a late 1980s / early 1990s frame (AFAIK, a '92), but I've no idea what ranges were current then. I know Deore / Deore XT goes back that far (Possibly DX/LX?).
Campag is out of the question as Campag MTB stuff in unobtainium unfortunately.
Ideally I'd like something "period" and reasonably top end, but not wanting to spend a fortune for something that's going to get ridden in dirt and water and snow...
