Re: 95' Specialized FSR Team-Patina Build

Last weekend I decided that I had enough parts of a similar condition to the frame to built it up so it looked nicely used. The inspiration was an old poster I had from my bike shop working days, I had to forgo the XTR but had some nice XT in stock, some S-works cranks, a set of recently purchased Umma Gummas that are in good condition, and a used but clean Grey WTB/Pro long saddle, that cleaned up nicely and just to finish off some spare S-works grip shift grips in grey.

Re: 95' Specialized FSR Team-Patina Build

Built up and ridden at the weekend, really pleased with how this has turned out, sometimes I'm far too fussy and wait for the right bits to turn up before I finish a project, all the bits on this just look right to me. She's a user ;)

Love that bike. I have a 94 FSR Stumpjumper Sport and I love it. Just rode it on some DH yesterday and it kicks some butt. I have a Q21 sus fork and the stock Specialized RST coil/air in the rear and its just enough travel to even it out on the trails. Ill have to put mine up here for you guys. How does yours climb? I do like the aggressive geometry of the frame it handles very nicely.
