For those interested in staying for the weekend we have arranged a ride on Saturday afternoon with a mid ride refreshments stop, then back to the camp site at Cropton for bbq/beer/bike jumble and games.

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 4: North York Moors ~ 21/07

Well I'm a weekender, we starting Friday night (full weekend?) or is it just the Saturday night ?

As for Rosedale people there is also the Caravan Club site opposite a pub (and next door to the other site)
http://www.caravanclub.co.uk/caravanclu ... csid=21993
(which used to be the overflow site for the other caravan/camping site.)

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 4: North York Moors ~ 21/07

I'll be there if I can get there! it's been in my diary for ages and I was starting to champ at the bit, wondering when we were going to get details. Hopefully will be staying the weekend, too.

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 4: North York Moors ~ 21/07

Also hoping to make a weekend of it, or at least stay over on the Saturday night.

There is some fantastic riding around Rosedale and Blakey Ridge. Looking forward to seeing exactly what route Vern and Marc have in store for everyone.
I'm sure it'll be a cracker!

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 4: North York Moors ~ 21/07

Its just the Saturday night... but there's nothing to stop you starting early ;)

Re: Retrobike National Series Rd 4: North York Moors ~ 21/07

Can someone explain to me why we are camping at cropton making me have to ride 5 miles just to get to the start and not the site in rosedale. Maybe im missing some main point.

Thanks andy
