Cheers mate :) It's been an enjoyable build so far hunting down all the parts to bring the frame back to life again.

I'm tempted with that headset but i'm waiting for the lad i got the hubs off,he says he's got one,think its the black one with white writing :D

Edit: the lad had the headset :)

Loving this build, this was the best Explosif in my opinion. Awesome bikes.

Cheers mate,I'm dying to ride it back to back with my 89 Explosif to see if there's a difference. The headsets sorted so just have to wait for them to turn up and then its down to replacing all the nuts and bolts (might go Ti with them) and cables. Nearly there :)

Another pair of nos Araya RM20's on there way from America to complete the wheel set for this Explosif,should go well with the black XT hubs :)

Cheers mate,it's all finally coming together now that i've managed to get a XT headset. The forks will be dropped off tomorrow to be sprayed and i've decided i'm going to do the splatter paint on them,should be fun :D

The XT hubs and headset and rims turned up but i'm keeping the rims in the box so they don't get damaged. Just waiting for the Shimano outer cables and the new bolts to turn up now.
