this is the 1st time i've seen a thread go from domestic appliances to ground breaking rock bands.
i grew up weened on pink floyd & other prog rock bands.
but we never had a tumble dryer.
never experienced the delicate sound of laundry drying.

I never used to 'get' Pink Floyd when I was younger, then one day I was laying flat on my back in the middle of the pitch at Carrow Road (sounds funnier out of context... ) listening to 'Comfortably Numb' whilst watching a lone Swallow swooping back and forth against a cloudless blue backdrop...
